Metal roof painting
A metal roof can take another life
if the prep is honest
Snow, ice, and sun wear the factory finish off standing seam and corrugated metal across the Upper Valley. We clean, treat rust, and apply coatings made for metal, not a leftover exterior latex from a siding job.
What we coat
Standing seam, corrugated, and other architectural metal roofs that are still sound on Vermont and New Hampshire houses. Fasteners, seams, and rust blooms get attention before the finish coat. If the panels are failed, we will tell you to replace instead of paint.
Why metal is its own job
Metal expands, sheds ice, and holds heat. The product list is different from clapboard. We treat it as its own ticket: access, weather window, rust conversion, and a coating that stays stuck through winter.
Where we do this work
We coat standing seam and metal roofs in Orford, Hanover, Lebanon, Norwich, Thetford, Woodstock, and towns across Vermont and New Hampshire.

How do you prep a rusty metal roof?

We wire-brush and scrape loose rust, clean the surface thoroughly, and apply a specialized rust-converting metal primer before the topcoats go on. Proper prep is the only way the coating will hold.
Is it better to paint my metal roof or replace it?

If the metal panels are still structurally sound, a professional coating can add years of life at a fraction of the cost of replacement. If the metal is failing, we will honestly advise you to replace it.
